Oooh, mossy rocks and lovely narley (how on earth do you spell that word?) beautiful trees - very pretty (and damp looking). Looks like you got a nice walk or two in on your weekend. Was it cold?
What's up with the rocks by Nalle - someone building a wall?
Terry, The rocks used to be in the ground where Johan's digging out a hole for the cellar under the budding new front entrance to the house. They will probably be a stone wall eventually, but not just there.
We did walk, but these pictures are from right outside my inlaws' house. Gnarly.
A very close friend of mine is Latvijan. She went back to her parents country and to neigbouring Estonia. Some shots of the forests she took are so similar to this landscape.Beautiful,clean,peaceful.

Gnarly.
After emersing myself in Icelandic lore so much, I find myself expecting to see some elves or gnomes hanging out in your pictures.
Great pictures . I would love to walk in the woods and sit on the rocks .It is really a a fantastic looking area .
Charles,
Thank you. It's nice where we live now, too, but not as wild or as quiet.
