Not bad! Considering you started later than we did here, that is lovely. My grandson has a big orange pumpkin growing in his little garden in our back forty... I think it will be ready long before Halloween...
They're bigger than they look. One is the size of a basketball. And there are five growing on one plant, so the size is shared around. But I do remember the New England pumpkins that you could practically climb into.
Pumpkins? this is going to sound really stupid. I've never grown pumpkins. Are they green before they mature? Or are these just green pumkins. Period. Never to be orange.

Pumpkins turn a beautiful orange as they mature. They start green, and then morph.
BTW, they really ARE good sized :-D
Holy cow!
Those are massive!
Did they ever turn orange?
We have many big enough to set out on Halloween. I would have had more but I let the vines dry out so no more growth.
So, did you ever make pumpkin pie? :-)
I think it is time to put up a few new piccies.
so, the ground is melted - you can plant now. I've planted onions... that is all. They have turned yellow in the sudden heat. :-O
The crab grass has taken over. Auuughhhh!
